Logix By the Sea

Mike and Sue are dedicated selfbuilders. Having built a number of projects in the UK and Spain this is the first time they have worked with Insulated Concrete Forms.

After attending a 2 day training course before Christmas Work has now started on their new 3 bedroom bungalow near the see. The couple intend to do as much of the work as possible themselves. "The training course was very useful and and The Logix team have really looked after us real," Mike says "for me this sytem is great. Its straight forward, and the blocks are easy to work with. I can get on and build most of the structure myself, whatever the weather.

The house is going to be built with Logix Neopor Blocks. These grey blocks give even better U values than the standard blocks. (U=0.19w/m2k) "I'm really looking forward to living in this house once its up," says Sue, with so much insulation, and a draft free structure, I hardly have to use the heating at all." The house is being built with a half a mile of the North Sea, and that extra insulation is bound to come in handy.
