Scottish Holiday Cottage

Brian Jones and his brother Dominic have spent their summer building a fabulous 4 bed cottage in Crieff. In a little over a month they went from basement slab to having the roof covered. The basement runs under the entire house, and gives Brian 30% extra space, for the same footprint, and ridge height.

A happy Brian after another successful concrete pour

Brian said, "I first encountered Insulated Concrete Formwork as a building concept at a self build exhibition in 2001, and had a gut feeling it was going to be my self build method if I managed to get planning permission on some land I owned. It ticked all my boxes: Structural strength, build time, sound proofing, building costs, skills required, longevity, simplicity & energy efficiency. I chose Logix, because they stood out in three critical areas, People, Product and Value.

The Logix team, were able to assure me of their support throughout my project from design to completion.

The Logix block has developed by people with over 15 years practical experience in the ICF market. The result of their development work is a simple, strong, versatile, easily assembled, well thought out product.

Unlike other ICF suppliers in the market, Logix manufacture the blocks in their own factory where they can control quality & production costs, making them able to supply a high quality product at a competitive price. "
