Vanguard Credit Union Barry Unrau, Designer St. Lazare, MB, Canada Distributor: Wheat City Concrete
Thank you for your interest in the success of the new branch building of Vanguard Credit Union, St. Lazare, Manitoba. The anticipated move-in date is December 5, 2003, and everyone involved is excited with the new building and looking forward to many years in this strong, energy-efficient structure.
I was asked to let you know how LOGIX helped this project, and why I prefer to specify LOGIX construction in my designs.
- Technical support and service. All questions and concerns were addressed promptly and expertly. Arched lintels, floor-slab connections, and construction details were all available and accurate. Multiple details, reinforcing tables, and helpful hints were available in the manual and CD provided.
- Design flexibility. With LOGIX forms, we were able to construct 12' high walls with the 4" form, allowing a secure, energy-efficient building at a competitive cost. The LOGIX head office was very helpful and provided all information required to accomplish our goal.
- Energy efficiency. LOGIX forms provide superior energy efficiency and wall system performance, reducing the mechanical system requirement. Cost savings (both construction and operating cost) benefit the Credit Union members.
In summary, I personally endorse the LOGIX ICF system, and feel it is the wall system of the future. Please feel free to use me as a reference for customers interested in speaking with a designer experienced with your superior product.
Sincerely Yours, Barry Unrau Barry's Blueprints
